Supported browsers

We test the Learning Platform against the latest stable versions of the major browsers:

• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Apple Safari
• Microsoft Edge

Other browsers and older versions may work but aren't officially supported — we recommend keeping yours up to date.

Autoplay restrictions

Browsers enforce "autoplay policies" — rules that limit when a web page can start playing media on its own. Originally aimed at advertising, they sometimes stop a course from playing its audio and video.

When that happens, the course asks for permission first and carries on as usual once it is granted.

Different browsers detect media differently — some use heuristics, others machine-learning models — so the prompt might appear once per course, every time, or never at all.
